I don't know what to do. From the news reports, it sounds like New Orleans is a perfect hell. I want to help but there's only so much I can do. I've donated to the Red Cross, but free cash is not my strong suit.
The only advice I can offer is that California is always a good place to start fresh. For anyone reading this who has been affected by Hurricane Katrina, if you come to San Francisco, I will try my best to make sure you can succeed here. I mean it, email cody@cementhorizon.com. I will help you get transport here and find you a place to stay and a job. SF has always been a welcoming city and the least we can do is help a friend in need.
