It has been said that a lady prefers bunnies to pirates for her companions. See Carthage.
I agree that this is true. However, do gentlemen also prefer bunnies? The playboy logo suggests that they do.
More generally, how do we all feel about this bunny-pirate rivalry? And what about kid pirates (or pseudo kid pirates like the Goonies and their never-grew-up role model One-Eyed Willie)?
And what about a messianic death's head bunny (like the one from Donnie Darko)?
These are all very important questions that may never be resolved by our contemporaries. But I have to say that my preference will always be for Cary Elwes dressed up as the Dread Pirate Roberts.

Only mildly related... although I haven't seen it yet, I hear Orlando Bloom makes a pretty hot pirate in The Pirates of the Caribbean. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD...
I feel that Johnny Depp is, without a doubt, one billion times hotter as a pirate than Orlando Bloom.
Posted by: Jacob at July 12, 2003 08:02 PMi really didn't think much of orlando bloom's pirateness. for one, i kept seeing him with long blond hair and pointy ears, and for two, he's too damn earnest and good. johnny depp's pirate, on the other hand, is a staggering drunken weird bastard with horrible dreadlocks, gold teeth and tattoos, and inexplicable but incredibly hot eyeliner. i want to sign on to his crew and go pillaging off into the sunset with him.

And yes I have four tattoos myself and the newest one is Johnnys jack sparrow tattoo that I had tattooed on my left calf.
