A New York State of Dress

tuxes.jpg

The wedding was fun. Although there were no fireworks, there were many rounds of yummy food, and I had fun schmoozing with all of Jay's Hopkins friends. The highlight of the night was when the bride and groom took to the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple. They waltzed to "The Rainbow Connection." I never thought of Kermit-the-Frog's voice as very romantic, but in that setting, he was as moving as the recently departed Barry White.

Three cheers for newlyweds! I wonder if I will ever be one.

I wish I had intended the fake out. Then I could say "HAHA! gotcha!" instead of "Whoops! Sorry!"

There was no chicken dance for me either. And the series of food (there was pre-dinner before the real thing) impeded all the other dancing. But I did get down to a tune or two.

That is an extremely cute picture of you two. I hope you get to be a newlywed some day b/c that will definitely lead up to the party of the decade... as long as there's no chicken dance.

Cute photo boys, what a great wedding that WILL be. And if the "chicken dance" involves young, cute boys - count me in!
